Meet the Team

We’re a team of cybersecurity leaders who have spent the last decade working together to make preemptive cloud defense the new standard. Over those years, some of us founded Solebit and led it through its acquisition by Mimecast, and together we went on to lead Mimecast’s Israel branch and teams in global cybersecurity companies. We were called to lead a national cloud security project in reserve duty, and in that fast, high-stakes environment one truth became clear: security must match the cloud’s speed, scale, and complexity. That moment sparked Blast, and we are excited to turn that vision into reality.

That’s how Blast `came to life` – with a team united by a shared purpose and a vision for preemptive security.

Boris has more than 20 years of cybersecurity leadership. Before founding Blast, he was GM of Mimecast Israel and VP of Advanced Threat Detection, joining via Mimecast’s acquisition of Solebit, where he was Co-founder & CEO. Under his leadership, Solebit became a Zero-Day Prevention leader. He started his career in Mamram, leading offensive and defensive cybersecurity teams.

Boris Vaynberg

Ido specializes in product management for defensive cyber solutions for large organizations with over a decade of experience. Before Blast, Ido led the detection strategy at SentinelOne and Mimecast, working closely with Fortune 500 customers and research teams. As an officer in elite IDF unit, Ido led IR and security operations teams to investigate and mitigate cloud threats in fast-growing environments.

Roi is a cybersecurity expert with 15 years in R&D leadership, specializing in preventative security. Before founding Blast, he held key roles in startups and global enterprises. He served in an elite IDF unit, developed advanced security tech, and led Solebit’s malware prevention engines. After Solebit’s acquisition, he became an R&D Director at Mimecast, driving innovation.

Dayana is a marketing leader with over 15 years of experience shaping brands and go-to-market strategies in the cybersecurity industry. Before joining Blast, she built the marketing engine and global presence for several high-growth startups, including Seraphic Security and WalkMe. Known for blending strategic clarity with creative edge, she specializes in building scalable marketing foundations that drive growth.

Dayana Nevo

VP Marketing

Rotem is an experienced engineering leader with a strong background in large scale cloud native systems. Before joining Blast as Head of Engineering, he led R&D groups at F5 and Wib (acquired by F5), driving innovation in API and cloud security. Earlier in his career, he held leadership roles at Mimecast, focusing on high performance infrastructure and scalable architectures. Rotem brings deep expertise in system architecture, stream processing, and data intensive platforms, combining hands on technical excellence with a people first leadership approach.
